Diagnostics Engineer

Diag engineer position responsible for developing diagnostics package at the system and board level for current and next generation Crossbeam products. This engineer would provide systems design to define diagnostic requirements to fulfill both engineering and production objectives. The individual will work with the Crossbeam product development community to determine requirements, execute functional documentation, coding, integration test, and training/transfer of diagnostics package to operations for production test.

Principal Hardware Design Verification Engineer (FPGA)

Crossbeam seeks a Principal Hardware Design Verification Engineer responsible for verification of current and next generation very large scale FPGA’s. The individual must be capable of handling lead responsibilities for verification, must be motivated, self managed, and organized, to operate cross-functionally within engineering, and other departments within a small high growth company. The individual must be committed to quality and working with a team to execute an in-depth DV test suite to insure designed-in quality.

Software Engineer – Applications

The Crossbeam Applications Development team has a position open for a skilled, self-motivated ISV Applications Software Engineer. Application engineers are technical leaders of ISV application integration efforts. These efforts include kernel configuration, software package development, system engineering, debugging and performance tuning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux and networking applications such as firewalls, IPS, and content gateways. Strong Python and BASH programming skills are required. Linux kernel development and C/C++ experience is needed, but does not require expert skills. The successful candidate must be familiar with software build procedures, makefile structures and tools as well as CVS and Git source control tools.

SQA Performance Test Engineer

We have a position open for a strong, self-motivated R&D Performance Test Engineer to develop Crossbeam’s Security platforms. Candidate must have a strong background in testing, networking and security skills. Experience with networking protocols and security applications are required.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, develop and execute performance tests based on industry standard techniques
  • The candidate will review product requirements and design/functional specifications to scope testing requirements, work with QA and development groups to develop test plans and strategies, provide feedback information and design new test cases.
  • The job requires creating automated tests scripts to reduce testing time.
  • Execute tests, review and report results, work with development groups to identify and resolve problems.
  • Perform load and capacity testing on systems to evaluate and characterize system behavior on 3rd party network performance tools (such as Spirent Avalanche/Reflector, IXIA, etc.).

The successful candidate will design and develop software for our network security products as part large Crossbeam OS virtualization project. Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer (SE) is responsible for supporting their assigned Account Manager and Regional Channel Manager with all technical elements of the sales process while selling Crossbeam solutions to potential customers and resellers. The Systems Engineers primary charter is to obtain solution closure within the sales cycle from the technical buyer, and to maintain account satisfaction with Crossbeam products.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Account Executives in a pre-sales capacity presenting Crossbeam products and services while developing designs and solutions aligned to the customer’s business requirements and IT priorities
  • Configuring Crossbeam products for evaluation and proof of concepts, as well as responding to all RFP/RFI requests and managing the on-site customer demonstration to obtain solution closure
  • Establish trusted advisory partnerships with key customers to define technology direction and adaptation of emerging technologies; perform effective technical opportunity analysis of accounts to know who the key solution decision makers are and maintain effective relationships with those key individuals

Requirements:

The selected candidate must have a minimum 5 years of professional industry experience developing and designing large IP-based networks for enterprise Fortune 500 customers. The Engineer is required to have deep and extensive experience in the key technologies related to TCP/IP data protocols and IP routing and switching technologies and must be prepared to review this during the interview screening process. Knowledge and experience with network security products is strongly desired. Pre-sales experience is required. Qualifications also include:

Account Development Representative

Job Function/Purpose:

The Account Development Rep will be responsible for Suspect Qualification and setting qualified meetings for the field sales teams. They will work with the field sales team to help drive “qualified” opportunities into the pipeline.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Drive “Qualified” Opportunities into the Pipeline – Utilize both marketing-driven and sales-driven suspect activity to drive qualified opportunities into the pipeline. This includes following up on all suspects that meet the criteria for the Account Development Group and focusing on converting them to qualified leads. This activity may include signing them up for a seminar or event; sending additional information; or closing for a meeting. Make sure that all follow up is documented and logged in the CRM system.

2. Field Follow Up and Communication – Work with the field as a representative of the group. Also, when following up on leads, keep open communication with the field to insure timely and complete follow up with a lead. Make sure that all follow up in documented and logged in the CRM system.

Minimum Qualifications:
4 year BS/BA degree with a mixture of 4+ years of experience in sales, telesales, and/or telemarketing. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Professional Services Consultant

The Professional Services Consultant is responsible for delivering both pre-sales and post-sales activities as a part of a fast growing Global Services organization. The PS Consultant will work closely with the sales organization to develop and deliver professional services methodologies and offerings to ensure that Company’s solutions offerings are clearly mapped to the customer and prospect business needs.

Job Description:

  • Work with Sales and SEs to engage Professional services in the sales process

Senior Technical Support Engineer – EMEA

CASP (Crossbeam Accredited Services Partner) Program Manager

In this leadership position, the CASP Manager will be responsible for managing, growing and improving the Crossbeam Service Partner relationships for all CASP Programs and Services (CASP-Support, CASP-ProServ, and CASP-ATP) to ensure highest level of support and services to our customers via the entire eco-system worldwide. As a senior member of the Technical Services staff this individual will be expected to have a thorough understanding of the criteria required for a potential company to become a high quality CASP Partner for Crossbeam. The CASP Manager will be the conduit between Crossbeam and the CASP partner, ensuring seamless communication and joint effort toward satisfying the end-customer.

Travel: up to 50%

The role includes but not limited to:

  • Qualify and Recruit new partners that provide strategic leverage to Crossbeam Client
  • services and Business as a whole evaluate potential new CASP’s;
  • On-going compliance and measurement of capabilities
  • Managing and scheduling regular Business Reviews
  • Identifying and implement plans for improving underperforming CASP’s
  • Recommend new programs as well as enhancements to existing programs
  • Ensure tools, systems, metrics, and templates are in place to run the program successfully.

Senior Technical Trainer

Responsibilities will be split between delivering technical training and curriculum development.

Deliver Crossbeam technical training to end users, partners (channel, VAR), and internal Crossbeam employees, at the customer location, Crossbeam Boxborough, and Crossbeam Mougins, France classrooms. Audiences have technical roles ranging from 1st level network & data security support to network architects responsible for designing advanced network security solutions.

Up to 50% travel is required.

Develop content for Crossbeam technical training to be delivered in computer-based training (CBT) and instructor-led training (ILT) format.

Education Required:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

Experience Required:
To be considered, candidates must have the following qualifications:

Principal Manufacturing Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Test Engineer to become a member of our Operations Test Engineering team. The successful candidate will work closely with our contract manufacturers, manufacturing team members, hardware engineering, SQA engineering and Crossbeam Production and RMA personnel. The position will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Debug production and field return products to component level, supplying root cause analysis, trending & problem alerts through in-house or supplier provided repair data.
  • Maintain and repair test equipment.
  • Write and review manufacturing test procedures
  • Write scripts to create, update, & maintain test programs
  • Supply debug and test support to external manufacturing, distributors and repair sites.
  • Provide feedback to Operations Management on test proficiency and manufacturing readiness of multiple test programs.
  • Work closely with Engineering personnel to devise next level of testing methods
  • Validate test implementations at domestic and international CM & Distributor sites.
  • Support manufacturing test on day to day production issues at multiple manufacturing, repair, and/or distribution sites.
  • Support Contract Manufacturers with ICT, ESS, Functional, and System Test requirements.

Candidates must demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • 5+ years of experience debugging to component level in an ISO manufacturing environment
  • Minimum BSEE or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5 years experience in production test engineering support.
  • Linux, TCL, and other scripting experience essential.
